Bill Moggridge (British, b. 1943) is co-founder of the global design consultancy IDEO. Named a Royal Designer for Industry by the British Royal Society of Arts, Moggridge designed the world’s first laptop computer, pioneered interaction design, and was one of the first people to integrate human factors into software and hardware design. He is currently consulting associate professor in design at Stanford University. His Designing Interactions book, DVD, and Web site tell the history of interaction design and how it has transformed our daily lives.
