In addition to creating elegant, minimalist cultural spaces for displaying art, Richard Gluckman (American, b. 1947) is recognized for infusing historical spaces with a modernist sensibility. Projects like the Museo Picasso Málaga in Spain and the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh demonstrate that a dialogue between historical context and the present can be both inspirational and appropriate.
