John Jay

Noted as a brand guru, John Jay is Global Executive Creative Director and Partner of the influential advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy. Praised for his bold innovation in the advertising field, Jay began his career in editorial design and went on to spend thirteen years in fashion marketing as the creative director for Bloomingdale’s. In 1993, he joined Wieden+Kennedy, where his branding vision has helped clients like Nike excel in the market. Jay has helped the agency expand in Asia, where he founded W+K Tokyo Lab, an independent music label. His independent creative consultancy, Studio J, is exploring design and entrepreneurial ideas with diverse clients and media.
