Proenza Schouler

Design team Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough founded Proenza Schouler in 2002, combining their mothers’ maiden names in the label. Through muted colors, artful layers, and subtle sexuality, Proenza Schouler offers an edgy, youthful take on upscale dressing. It has received several awards, including the Council of Fashion Designers of America Perry Ellis Award for new talent in 2003 and the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year Award in 2007. Its collection for Target’s GO International line was released in 2007.
